Having lived in both arenas of church music for the past 30 years, I've watched churches -- large and small -- bicker and begrudge one another over the most ridiculous issues regarding music in the church.

Keep in mind: the devil cannot CREATE anything. He can only pervert and distort what God alone has created.

Music ... is God's handiwork. Creatively inspired in the heavenlies before it even touches earth.

What 'man' does with music, is the REAL discussion here.

I'm thrilled that you have made this a point of discussion, and as you have shared here, it floods my soul with JOY, as I observe the musicians of today ... singing and playing their music -- be it ever so loud, soft, or somewhere in between -- all, for the glory of The King!

Comment on The People Pleasing Disease

Tonia: It's fine to print it out for your mom and dad.

Comment on The People Pleasing Disease

Thanks for posting this Brother Gregg. I am sad that you are not our pastor anymore, but I am very excited to see where the Lord will take you on this new chapter in your life. I think you are really on to something here and I can't wait to find out what will come of this. I have a VERY good feeling about this.
Miss you,
Ginna Stokes

Comment on Doing ministry "In the book but out of the box."

Thanks, Jon. Your family means a lot to me. Thanks for your prayers.

Comment on Doing ministry "In the book but out of the box."

Bro. Gregg,
I have known you most all of my life. I want you to know that my family and I will pray for you as you seek God's will for your life. What a tremendous step of Faith that God has laid on your heart to step "Out of the Box" and obey his commands. We will continue to pray that God will direct your ways and open many doors for you to minister to those who need Him.
In Christ,
Jon Mark Self

Comment on A birthday party for a prostitute

Wow Gregg, That brought tears to my eyes.
